Aid for Samburu Update
Following major delays, the drilling rig finally arrived on the 26th October 2015 and hit a massive supply of water at 48 metres. The water is of good quality and the quantity of supply far exceeded initial expectations. Villagers arrived on the scene quickly and allowed the livestock to drink to their hearts content, before the women filled their containers.
There has been a lot of hard work and obstacles to overcome to get to this point, which makes it all the more rewarding. Richard Gibson’s dream of providing the villagers with the certainty of water has come true.
